Seasonal Waiter – Waitress

Job Description:

Uptown Square a prestigious group of restaurants, seeks to recruit Waiter – Waitress for the season 2022. The predetermined period is between 15^th of April to 15^th of October. At the end of the season a permanent employment will be considered from the company.

Responsibilities:

Welcomes customers when they arrive at the restaurant.
Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
Offer menu recommendations upon request
Up-sell additional products when appropriate
Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff using POS system.
Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
Follow all relevant health department regulations
Provide excellent customer service to guests
Τake care of his/her presence to follow hygienic standards every day.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications:

Command of English both written and verbal. Russian and Greek Language will be considered as advantage.
Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a restaurant or hotel.
Flexibility to work in shifts.
Enthusiasm, professionalism and continuous development in an ever-growing team.
Ability to provide high-quality services in a professional work environment.
Wine knowledge will be considered as a plus.
